Intelligence

It’s interesting to hear so many people proudly proclaiming that they are “not religious” people. They don’t believe in God and fairy tales, and evolution explains it all.

Everyone has a right to his or her own opinion. After all, we all have to take responsibility for our own actions and decisions.

Or that’s they way I see it, anyway. You do get people who believe everything is everyone else’s fault, but in my humble opinion that “victim-attitude” gets you nowhere.

What I do not understand is that the same people who will boldly proclaim that they are “not religious”, will hang onto every word of people who “talk to the dead”, or who read tea leaves in a cup. Somehow they believe that these practices are credible, because it’s been around since the middle-ages.

With all the scientific evidence clearly pointing to the fact that Someone out there must have designed this awesome universe, people would still think that believing in God is stupid, but they would rather believe in tea leaves, follow the positions of the stars and listen to gypsies who babble the most unbelievable junk that you can imagine.

I have more respect for fundamentalists, whether they be Christians, Muslims or even devil worshippers, than someone who claims not to be “religious”, but who eagerly follows the idiotic mumbo-jumbo babblings of demon-possessed psychos.

Ridiculing people who believe in a God is a great sport to these types, although they would sheepishly read their star signs in the daily paper. They are scared of ghosts and vampires – and aliens of course.

Aliens have apparently visited us, even though they are only interested in doing anal probes and getting our earth women pregnant. This a fanatic fundamentalist group in a class all of it’s own. It boggles my mind that educated, intelligent people can believe in aliens, even though science clearly shows how impossible it is for these little green monsters to have visited us. Those same people will abuse science to prove that the universe “just happened”.

Amazing.

There are even people who make use of their mobile phone service providers to indicate whether they are compatible with someone else – by typing their names and texting it to a number. If you follow stupid ideas like that, are you not actually a wacky religious fanatic?

What DO you believe? I know what I believe.
